Welcome to PlusHeal.com an online community and resource for healers playing World of Warcraft.

This community is intended to serve as a place where healers can come together to exchange tips, mods, macros, math, questions and ideas. We hope to create an environment where healers with multiple levels of experience can benefit from our shared knowledge and experience.

In the interest of encouraging a healthy and respectful environment we are laying out a few ground rules:

1) We ask that you refrain from making personal attacks. It is okay to disagree with someone's ideas but it's not okay to attack the person behind those ideas.

2) We also ask that you refrain from making discriminatory remarks or sweeping generalizations. A person's sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, religion, age, and shoe size in no way impact their ability to heal or their worth in these forums.

3) We ask that you refrain from sharing too much real life information. If you wish to share personal details like your address or phone number please limit this sharing to private messages.

4) We are not placing limitations on language, but as with any gathering of people, use of curse words, net speak, etc. will probably affect the impression you make on people.

5) Don't make an ass of yourself. (I did say we weren't placing language restrictions didn't I?) One bad apple can ruin a community for everyone. If you have something to say, please say it with respect. If you don't have something constructive to say, please refrain from posting. Making Snarky or Unconstructive Posts are also definite no-nos.

6) We ask that you refrain from posting and/or using potentially offensive image content on these forums. As a general rule of thumb, if the image is one that cannot be linked on the official World of Warcraft forums without risk of disciplinary action, then it is not appropriate here. (Images containing profanity are the exception, as we are not placing limitations on language.)

7) While we at PlusHeal generally like to encourage community creativity, there is a point at which excessively large signatures detract from the topic at hand. Thus, we ask that you limit your signature's width to 540 pixels and height to 400 pixels. Additionally, since moving images can become very distracting to readers, please keep any image movement low-key. Ultimate discretion of what is and is not appropriate in signatures lies with the admins/mods and may be handled on a case-by-case basis.

8 ) Though we recognize the value of open discussion, there are certain topics that are simply not appropriate for these forums. These include topics not related to World of Warcraft in some way, as well as topics discussing or promoting activities that violate the Terms of Use or End User License Agreement for World of Warcraft and/or Battle.net. This encompasses discussions on real money trading (a.k.a. gold selling/buying), account sharing/trading, hacking, botting, cheating, active exploits etc.*

9) We ask that anyone linking to or promoting work outside of PlusHeal do it in a manner that contributes to the discussion. Linking to content outside of PlusHeal is great, but do it in a way that constructively adds to a discussion rather than just providing a link and saying nothing more. If your only intention is to promote your forum/blog/website/addon this is fine, but please do so in its own thread. Adding links to your forum signature as a passive advertisement are fine as well. Please remember that all links to outside content are subject to guideline 8, and of course moderators reserve the right to remove or modify links at any time for any reason.

Some additional guidelines have been added to the Healer Exchange Forum, if you use this forum please read over them here: http://www.plusheal.com/exchange/m/1946835/viewthread/936356-required-reading-rules-policies

Thank you for your interest in our community! On behalf of the Mod Crew and the PlusHeal community, I'm looking forward to getting to know you and sharing knowledge with each other.

A new guideline (#7) has been added — please take a moment to review the above post and adjust your forum signatures as appropriate. :d

Another new guideline (#8) has been added, and I wanted to take a moment or two to explain the intent behind it, since it's a pretty broad guideline.

*To clarify guideline #8, if you want to discuss exploits which have already been fixed and no longer work or purely hypothetical scenarios of the above, we're going to allow that for now, but be warned that such discussions will be under very close scrutiny and will likely be heavily moderated. So a topic like "How would you feel if Blizzard set up a gold-selling system like CCP Games' PLEX system for EVE Online?" is fine, but the entirety of the thread needs to remain solely within the realm of the hypothetical (and us mods will be keeping a very close eye on such threads to make sure everything stays purely hypothetical). Any posts wherein users admit to ToU/EULA violations will be deleted on sight.

That said, anyone who posts a link to any site that directly promotes violating the WoW or B.net ToU/EULA (such as a gold selling site, account sale advertisement, hack distributor, explanations of active exploits etc.) will be subject to immediate and severe penalties—up to and including permaban—as determined on a case-by-case basis. We don't want to stifle legitimate avenues of discussion, but we also refuse to support, condone, or in any way encourage the violation of legally binding documents.

As always, please take a moment to read through all of the guidelines to refresh your memory (or read through them for the first time if you haven't already done so ;) ).

Quick note: Guideline 5 has been updated to include a link to the Snarky or Unconstructive Posts thread, but the overall message remains the same.
