I have to post here seeing as how I have a complex after suddenly learning to log in via my toon's name, instead of my enjin name!!
Hi! I'm formally known around these parts by the name of "Nikalia"! Now.... you can apparently call me Divinity.
Healing Characters: Divinity - Holy/Disc Priest; Dawn - Holy Paladin; Manipulative - Resto druid; Rainy - Resto Shaman (only have druid and priest maxed though!)
Healing Experience Level: I was born to heal, though admittedly I am a wrath baby. =(
Extra Notes: Tooooooooooooo much to put here. Umm how about... one day I will have one of every healer, and I will have the prettiest heal blog around. One day.
Darnit and I was so getting used to calling you Nikalia, I guess I'll have to adjust ;). And you reminded me that I hadn't introduced myself.
I've been playing this game since the beginning of Wrath and I am a bit of an altoholic, having one toon of every class at 85, all in US Exodar. Since my guild has always been finding itself more often than not in need of healers, my main toons are Polyanna, a prot/holy pally who finds herself tanking more than healing since we started 2-healing things, and Adinne, a disc priest with a varying offspec. Unfortunately my shaman and druid don't see much action any more, unless you count making gems and flasks. We're working on 10man normal modes, and I doubt we'll do much heroics any time soon. Currently struggling on Gunship, and about to start working on Spine.
As a mathematician I am very much drawn to theorycrafting, and I landed on this site through Derevka's blog. Been reading it for quite a while, and I liked the community so much that I decided to start contributing a couple of months ago.
Hey my name is Kat and although I've been a long time reader I just started showing up as an active commenter lol
My healing characters are :Therya -Resto Shaman / Ele os, Allecia - Holy pala and, Tharea experimental Resto Druid/Hello kitty.
Healing experience level : Not been around that much in WoW but I ve been around a lot in RPG world. I've been venturing into Azeroth last year and a half.
Hi all,
I've made a few posts and benefitted from a lot of great advice and critique in the priest gear check thread, so I think it's only polite to introduce myself.
Healing toons: My healers are Alizareth (Disc/Shadow Priest) and Droashav (Resto Shaman). I also have an 85 Druid with a Resto spec, but I didn't enjoy healing on him – I'll be back some day to give it another crack of the whip, I'm sure.
Healing Experience: I started raiding on my Hunter in Wrath with ToC, then ICC and into Cata through T11 and early T12. I rolled Droashav to run as a healer in my guild's off nights, running T11 as the main raid was starting on T12. After a guild change, I switched to healing full time but found myself in a ten man raid with another Resto Shaman as we built up the team.
I switched to Alizareth from Droashav as my main just as we were working on Ragnaros. I've played Alizareth as my main through T13, and I'm really enjoying Disc and looking forward to doing some hard modes now Deathwing has fallen. I'm also starting to gear up my poor neglected Resto Shaman as I miss healing on him too.
Other stuff: Really enjoying the community here, I have learned a lot and hope I have something to contribute, too, before long.
My name is Migrin and I am addicted to healing. My current mainchar is a healing priest called Glimmerbart, currently specced to A/A. I am raiding 10 man normals and some FL Hero as I have not seen FL before 4.3. I also have a holy paladin called Migrin, which was retired after 4.1 and is now sitting around Loch Modan, and a restoration shaman called Gondogar, who just hit 85 and is currently being geared for some DS normal action. Of course, all my chars are dwarfs. Only a bearded wizard really knows how to use his magic stick! No seriously.. I am just a big fan of dwarfs since they have come across my way when I started reading novels.
Blogs like Tales of a Priest and many sites and forums like this one have helped me to become a better healer. As I have now be sitting on the side of the consumers for a very long time, I think it is about time that I also share the knowledge that was passed to me as well as the experience I gathered during my long time playing. During the last months I really started to optimize my priest healing and hope to be able to give some valuable inputs for beginners. I started playing my paladin some weeks after release of 1.0 and played him as a main until WotLK always PvE orianted and started playing my priest in WotLK mainly PvP oriented. Currently, as mentioned above, I am playing my disc as main, raiding DS and some FL Hero.
Next to playing WoW I work as IT specialist in the insurance business, do art, traditional archery and am coach of a junior handball team.
Next to introducing myself, I also want to use this opportunity to thank every one of you for actively participating in this and other player communities. Of course there are some players like Derevka(She shall be praised) that might be sharing their knowledge more often/detailed than a standard forum user but I think all of you guys really make this game an even better experience.
Hello, fellow healers. I'm Vacrysa! I've been playing WoW since release and healing since day 1. My main during Vanilla and BC was a priest but I switched to a paladin towards the beginning of WotLK. I've healed on every class and spec so you could say that I'm a healing junkie . I unsubbed during Cataclysm but decided to come back because MoP is looking like it's going to be a really awesome expansion. I decided to start over completely, however, and so I'm starting at level 1 on each healer.
Other than that, I'm a college student who is working towards a degree in English education. I like hanging out with friends and playing video games, obviously, and just try to be a generally helpful individual I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Greetings everyone! I'm Lanathyel, a healy priest from Vek'nilash-EU. IRL I'm married, 30yo, and working as a legal adviser for a company dealing with public transport in Hungary (now that one sounds boring, huh?). I've played WoW since 2007 when TBC came out, started healing as a Tauren Druid and successfully cleared everything up to and including BT (pre-nerf) and Sunwell (post-nerf). In WotLK, I switched to Pally healing, still raided quite a lot but not as hardcore as in the Burning Crusade times. I quit gaming for a few months in Cata, but now came back with great enthusiasm knowing I would be able to switch mains and I don't have to sacrifice those ~8000 achievement points I've managed to rack up on my Pally.
I really fell in love with Priest healing and I've always considered Priests the healers of the game, so I went Holy and I'll try to level up to 85 and gear up at least somewhat before the new expansion hits.
May your health bars be always fat and green, fellow healers!
