Im currently using vuhdo. Why wouldnt i!

In the debuffs tab ive selected searing plasma and changed the color to a bright color that i would recognise and added a sound. is that enough to warn me that someone has the debuff? and will that work?

i just want to make sure its right before i raid and screw up.

thanks :)

Hi, basically that should be it. Note that there is a known bug that color change doesn't work if the spell is listed by spell id instead of spell name in custom debuffs. Furthermore I recommend using an icon for sp in addition because this way it will show you remaining absorption in percent (if you enable counter/stacks).

There's not real way to test this, no, except in practice. Even LFR is no good as the debuff doesn't happen on LFR version of the fight.

You tick the icon under Options-Debuffs-Custom, after selecting the debuff from the custom debuff list, above it should be several checkboxes. Hit the one that says Icon.
Do not check the icon checkbox on the left in the same tab (settings for all custom debuffs, you want only specific one) nor the icon checkbox under Options-Debuffs-Standard (that's to let all debuffs through, again not what you want).
